First Flute Sounds

How to teach basic flute sound production to beginner students

In this course you will learn how to get students started with making their first sounds on the flute head joint. As this would likely be a student's first flute lesson you'll also learn appropriate language and greeting skills, and be asked to consider your teaching environment. Potential challenges students may face in first learning to produce a flute sound are covered in the troubleshooting lesson. Suggestions on how to assign practise tasks in this exciting new venture for your student are also included.
